The small town of Ierissos, situated on the Athos peninsula, offers a beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear waters and tavernas with delicious greek cuisine. Travelers can also explore the nearby Kakoudia and Komitza beaches or take a ferry to the island of Amouliani. The town of Ouranupoli, with its shops and restaurants, is also a short car ride away.
